What better way to start the new season than free professional baseball in a beautiful setting, fireworks, and fundraising for a worthy cause! Tickets are now available for the Rockland Boulders’ charity exhibition game against the New York City Police Department baseball team this Saturday, May 12th at 6pm at Provident Bank Park. The game will be followed by a spectacular fireworks show after which all kids, 14 and under, will be allowed to run the bases. Charity donations will be accepted at the game on behalf of the NYPD baseball team. The Boulders will then host a Can-Am League exhibition against the New Jersey Jackals on Sunday, May 13th at 2pm.
Admission to both games is free, but a ticket is required for Saturday’s contest and parking fees of $5 will be in effect for both games. Fans are encouraged to print their tickets at home by clicking on the link on the Boulders website home page at www.rocklandboulders.com. (All ticket service fees have been waived for this game.) Tickets will be also be distributed on the day of the game at the ballpark box office, however fans are encouraged to get them early while supplies last. Little Leagues and groups looking for tickets should call the Boulders box office at (845) 364-0009 to make arrangements.
