Rockland Boulders Baseball Team Seeking New Team Members

(Ramapo, NY) - The Rockland Boulders are currently accepting resumes and applications for summer positions.

Seasonal positions, starting in May and continuing through September, include; customer service representatives, parking lot attendants, ticket sellers, ticket takers, ushers, and concession workers.

“I really enjoy working with the Boulders,” said Danyel DeRosario, a 2011 seasonal employee who was promoted to a full time front office position in September. “It is a great family environment and I love coming to work.”

Internships available include game operations, special events, community relations, public relations, sales and marketing, graphic design, photography and ticket operations. All internships are for credit or experience only.

“As a college student interning for the Boulders during their inaugural season was a great experience,” said Dan Caplan, a 2012 summer intern. “I was able to see first-hand how a professional sports organization worked.”

Interning with the Boulders, not only gives students the opportunity to learn the industry, but an inside track to begin their careers upon graduation. In the past two years, several Boulders interns were hired following their internship and proceeded to work in various capacities both within the organization and in the sports industry at large.

Since commencing operations in Rockland County in 2011, the Rockland Boulders have employed upwards of 300 full time and seasonal employees. For more information on the job and internship fair call 845-364-0009.
